Choose your spot. Make sure it's somewhere public, but not somewhere where normal people might congregate.
Adopt the lurking stance. Put your hands in your pockets and
lean back casually as if waiting for something to happen.
Try to look a bit suspicious. A balaclava and baseball bat, while a nice touch, are not really necessary.
Get a whole group to lurk at the same time.
Continue lurking in the same spot for at least 30 minutes.
