Updated 2/24/00 : Two more Racing Champions MegaMan X4 race cars!
In 1995, the MegaMan cartoon hit the realm of syndicated programming. Naturally, there were toys to accompany it. Despite doing very well in the ratings (#1 in several areas), the show was cancelled after two seasons.
Each figure comes with removable weapon arms and interchangeable projectiles, to simulate MegaMan's weapon-copying powers. The initial shipment only included MegaMan and GutsMan, causing these two figures to be overstocked in most stores. Later Series 1 shipments brought new figures to the shelves, which didn't last long as kids snapped them up. A second series of figures was released in smaller numbers, along with a vehicle. The reasons for the lines' cancellation are unclear... but the line was canceled with many more toys planned or in the works.
