Paul Collins

Paul Collins was born in England, raised in New Zealand and at eighteen emigrated to Australia. At twenty he published his first novel Hot Lead - Cold Sweat, and since then has had over 100 short stories published, Between 1975 and 1985 he edited Void magazine and was fiction consultant to Omega. He has edited seven collections of short stories, including SF aus Australien for Wilhelm Goldmann Verlag, Germany.

Paul has run the gamut of the publishing industry: publisher, editor, writer, literary agent, proofreader and typesetter/layout artist. His other interests include martial arts, in which he has a black belt in both Tae Kwon Do and Ju Jitsu, and his Melbourne "Tragically Hip" book/record shops, which hinder him from pursuing his creative endeavours with any diligence.
