Tatooine
Tatooine is a Planet on the edge of the
Universe, It is mostly desert, and has been settled by Humans as
well as other alien races. Tatoonine is a palce where the scum of
the universe hang out. In Mos Eisley, The only spaceport on the
planet and the capital as such, all kings of illegal activities
are occuring under the noses of bribed Empire Officals. In fact
Tatooine is the centre of the biggest crime synicate in the
galaxy, The crime synicate of Jabba
the Hutt. He is the cause of the illegal activities and the
excitement on Tatooine. Without his Palace being located on the
planet, it may be likely that the planet 
would of been abbandoned long ago. As it would seem
he is the cause of all the wealth of Tatooine. Without him there
would be no space traffic, no demand for the moisture farmers
wate and hence no moisture farmers. The Wide numbers of races of
Tatooine would have left leaving the planet to the Jawas and sand people, the
native inhabitants of the sands of Tatooine.
The
Jawas are natural scavangers of parts and roam the sands in
reclaimed sandcrawlers
which remained after Tatooine was deemed unprofitable to mine.
The Sand people are enemies of the Jawas and ride banthas. There
are also stranger creatures such as the Sarlaac which takes
thousands of years to digest food (Jabba the Hutt decided to feed
it with his prisoners), The dew back which is a lizard that can
be riden. There are also the Tusken
Raiders or sand people, these are very primitive and
agressive to both Human moisture farmers and Jawas.
The Humans which live on the planet come
into two catagories, either the lawless smugglers, bouty hunters
and others which
are part of Jabba's or
another crime lord's retinue or the peaceful moisture farmers,
with whom Luke Skywalker grew
up with.
Above Tatooine was a battle when a single star destroyer imbolised the Alderraan diplomat ship the Tantive IV. The destroyer destroyed all the crew except Princess Leia, a young member of the senate who was take prisoner and two droids, R2D2 and C3P0 who escaped in the Escape pod, bring the events which brought Luke Skywalker into the Rebellion.
