Stormtroopers
Stormtroopers are
the main arm of the empires forces and make up the garisons of
all the planets and can also be found in Empire crusiers. They
are armoured in heavy armour as basic equipment, this contains
respiratory equipment so they can operate in a vacuum. In
different terrains they can wear armour which vary from the norm,
I.e. Snow armour and desert armour.
Stormtroopers are armed in different ways
according to mission and are trained in nearly all types of
weaponary and hand to hand combat. They can also be issued with
larger and heavier laser cannon, for example they used this on Hoth. They can also be issued with more
exotic equipment e.g. the dewback. The normal armament is a
blaster rifle, with support of a light repeating blaster. Some
units may be supplemented with 2 man E Web Repeating Blasters.
Unfortunally storm troopers do not usally show initative and
have weak minds for example Ben
manages to use the Jedi mind 
trick on one.
This is because the best troopers are taken out to sewrve in more
elite units such as on AT ATs
and the Imperial Royal Guard.
They are trained for action and heavily rely on Imperial officers
for orders. Also their armour has many weak points so a sharp
shooter or a lucky shot can make this armour reduntant also heavy
blasters such as Han Solos has a good effect.
