Space Slug
Space Slugs are giant worms about a
kilometer long. These slugs live in asteroids below the surface.
These are silcon based lifeforms which require no atmosphere and
live on the break down of rock, they are very like earthworms in
this respect only much bigger.
Han Solo, Leia and Chewbacca encountered one of these beasts in one of the asteroids in the Hoth system, when they were hiding from Imperials after the defeat at Hoth, they escaped with their lives after landing the Falcon inside the mouth of one of these.
