Admiral Piet
A Captain Piet
was based on the Executer a Super
Star destroyer and became the aide of Admiral Ozzel, the
fleet commander, he soon became second in command of the fleet
due to his natural talents. When ordered to approach the Hoth system, Ozzel made a fatal
error he left hyperspace too close to the Planet and alerted the
Rebels of their prense, Darth
Vader killed him for his stupididity and promoted Piet in the
process.
Admiral Piet was commander of the Executer throughot the civil war from this point, but died at the battle of Endor when an A wing crashed into the bridge of the Executer, he was an able Imperial leader and another causalty in the galatic civil war.
