Imperial Landing Craft (Sentinel Class Shuttle)
The
Imperial Landing Craft is based on the Lambda
Shuttle design witha
larger passenger/cargo bay. Like the Lambda it has the the pair
of folding wings. The ship is also more heavilier armed with 4
laser cannons, 2 missile tubes (usally armed with concussusion
missiles), 1 ion cannon and repeating blasters(used after landing
for cover for the disbarking troops). like the Lambda it is
heavily armoured and shielded with hyperdrive caperbilities. The
cargo bay can carry over 50 soldiers and 6 speeder bikes and can
be used to carry other weaponary such as repeating blasters but
like the lambda can be converted to carry more speeder
bikes or other light
vechicals.
This carft is quite new and so has not spread amogst the Imperial fleet, however one of these ships was used to transport Darth Vader and a retinue of Stormtroopers to Bespin.
