AVIATION SEA CADET TRAINING FACILITY
From Kansas City take I-35 South through Olathe to exit 210-Gardner. Go West to New Century Air Ctr and go North on New Century Parkway to Navy Park with Lake.  Museum, on the next corner going North, take the first left across the Railroad tracks into the 300 complex. After entering the fenced area turn right and go around the complex rotary, to the last bldg.

 Commanding Officer’s Message 
Future Drill Dates:  6/7/8 Oct. (Flagship),   27/28/29 Oct. (FTX, USA, Camp Crowder, MO),   11/12 Nov. (FATS),   9/10 Dec.

ALL HANDS BRING Whites and Blues. We will wear Dress Blues at Flagship and we need to make sure you been issued Dress Blues.

A list of articles to bring for the FTX with the Army will be issued this drill.  Everyone check out a sleeping bag!

Command Master Chief
Bravo Zulu- to Cpl M. Emerson on getting a color guard together for Sept 7th & 9th for an USS Chevalier Reunion-(members) and all cadets that marched in Olathe Parade.  They did a great job!  Next drill  weekend we will train, train and train for flagship (team work) – good luck shipmates!

Administration/PERSONNEL Department

· Enrollment Fees MUST be paid Sat. morning or Cadets will be sent home.  Check your I.D.
· Enrollment Fees Due:  OCT. 00 due for re-enrollment this month. Fees due are for the following, Seth Reynolds
· All Hands are required to show I.D. Card AND signed POM when crossing the Quarterdeck.  Failure to comply will result in demerits and report to squadron Master-at-Arms for corrective action.
· Grade cards are to be turned into Admin.  As soon as cadets receive them from their school.
· Replacement cost for lost I.D. cards is now $5.00.  Re-enrollment fee is $57.00 for Sea Cadet.
 
 
 

Training Department

· FLAGSHIP FEES DUE THIS DRILL $30.00.
· FLAGSHIP:  REPORT NO LATER THAN 1730 AT BLDG 300, Friday, Oct 6.
· Bring and turn-in correspondence course (minimum 2), also bring course currently in-work
(Contact Training Officer for course issue). Drop courses in Training Dept. mail slot in passageway.
· All cadets bring PT gear both days, to include: Sweats, shorts, t-shirts, tennis shoes, etc.
· You must have 75% drill attendance for the last 12 months to participate in any TWT this will strictly enforced.

SUPPLY DEPARTMENT

:  Congrats to supply PO – E-2L – Morgan & Assist PO LC-1 Shane Kramer.
· We have received shipment of NSCC T-shirts, SMALL ONLY.  Cost is $5.00 per shirt, one per cadet.
· We have also received Ball Caps.  These are issue.
· All gear adrift will be sent to squadron Master-at-Arms.   If you leave it, you buy it back PT or Money?
 
 

AVIATION   SEACADTRAFAC 
Parents Auxiliary Notes:

· Parents wishing to help with provisions or preparation of noon meals please contact Tina Kramer at   913-287-1073.

· We are in the process of acquiring Bldg. 301 from the Army.  We need more volunteers for tile work, plumbing, Electricians, and all trades to bring the bldg. up to speed.  If we can get some people to donate time and supplies, some money is available for this project, we can have the Bldg. up and running by December of this year.  We plan on having NLCC boot Camp and other activities at SEACADTRAFAC, Bldg.’s 300 and 301 in the summer of 2001!
 

· Special thanks to Tina Kramer for Saturday and Sunday lunch. Also, for helping us to acquire the pans necessary to get our galley up and running!

Supplies needed include: Paper & plastic Products, Gatorade and/or Powerade, charcoal  and lighter fluid for grill, or whatever you wish to donate!  Parents Meeting at 1500 on all Sundays of drill weekend.

Parents Note: Cadets are directed to present this POM to parents or quardians and request that it be read and signed.  Please read and sign!  Your cadets success in the Sea Cadet program depends greatly on your interest and participation.
