DR. DAVID MARCUS
Merrit Butrick
Scientist born in 2261, died in 2285. Son of James Tiberius Kirk and Dr. Carol Marcus. Marcus was one of the key figures in development of Project Genesis. Marcus later transferred, along with Saavik, to U.S.S. Grissom for study of the Genesis Planet. Marcus was killed during that study by a Klingon expedition that sought to claim the planet and the Genesis process for the Klingon government.
