SUSPEND ANIMATION AND SLEEPER SHIP
Sleeper Ship is a term used to describe relatively slow interstellar spacecraft that used suspend animations to allow passengers and crew to hibernate during the flight.
Sleeper ships fell in disuse by the year 2018 because of advances in sublight propulsion. The S.S. Botany Bay, a DY-100-class vessel, was a sleeper ship.
