Battle rifles are the larger and heavier cousins of the assault rifles. The extra range and power of a battle rifle are only useful in the hands of an expert shooter. The one example of a battle rifle given here is as good as any.
Some weapon descriptions have codes (e.g. [h, l, n, s, f]) indicating possible modifications/accessories. A code in round brackets (e.g. (s)) indicates that the weapon is already fitted with that extra. Click on the codes to go to the modifications/accessories page.
Use the Guns [Rifle] (for single shots) or Guns [Light Automatic] (for bursts) skills with battle rifles.

Note: A good rifle for firing rifle grenades. The A4 version has a retractable sliding metal buttstock, but Holdout is still -6. |
