Forever Knight: The Alternate Third Season

Quantum Physics, that strange domain where reality and science fiction merge. Chances are even if you don't know the term you have at least heard of the concepts where by alternate realities may be possible.
I've always been facinated by Schrodeinger's cat, alternate realities, paradox and related theorims; so it was only natural to play with them in my favorite fictional world as well.
In its third season the (thrice Gemini nominated series) Forever Knight underwent some extreme changes in both cast and content at the behest of a certain network which decided to 'fix that which was not broken.'...

History
|
Some people liked the new charectors, some of the story lines were good; and yet most people realized that even though it was not the fault of the new charectors something vital was missing.
The new charectors themselves were fine they just could not replace those that were gone.
The third season was still good but it was darker, lacking in the vitality and humor that had previously balenced the show's otherwise dark and thought-provoking themes.
In the end this altered world led to "Last Knight"...a series finale that rivals Quantum Leap's(another favorite series of mine) for most controversial and often despised. A finale that in many people's view betrays the entire premise of the series.
Since the begining Forever Knight fans have been a prolific group of writers and dealing with "Last Knight" was no exception. So until the day we hopefully see the final episode resolved in a movie we have a collaborative project called the Virtual Fourth Season along with multiple stories by individul writers to resolve the difficult cliff hanger on which our favorite series ended.
Several years ago I came up with a completly different idea, not a way to resolve Last Knight but a collaborative project that takes a unique perspective. ALT3S combines the best of both worlds

The project: ALT3S
|
The best of both worlds not a farse of multiple captians, Raven owners, and cop partners but instead a logically concieved fully, integrated storyline in which there is room for all charectors to take thier place.
A story where the new charectors join but the others do not die or leave, a world where the charectoes that remain will never take the path that leads to the tragic end we saw on screen. This time the tragic plane crash which shattered the Forever Knight world at the begining of third season and set the charectors inevitably on that downward spiralling path will end just a little differently...this time the plane crash will have survivors.
Join us now on a journey into what might have, perhaps should have, been. Take a step into a world just a little bit different from the one we know so well and find out where the path may lead.
