If you haven't seen John Carpenter's Big Trouble in Little China, go rent it today. If you are a fan of martial arts, action or scifi films, you will love it. BTLC stars Kurt Russell as a cocky trucker and James Hong as a evil sorcerer who wants to rule the world from beyond the grave. Sounds like fun huh? Released: 1986 Available on VHS, laserdisc and DVD. Soundtrack available. (But hard to find.)

Synopsis: Jack Burton (Russell) is visiting his friend Wang Chi in Chinatown. After a night of gambling, Wang ends up owing Jack over $2000. He tells Jack he has to go and pick up his fiance from the airport first. Well, the girl gets kidnapped by the Lords of Death, a gang of Chinese street punks. Jack and Wang give chase, but the girl, whose name is Miao Yin, ends up at the Wing Kong exchange, the headquarters of the most cutthroat group of criminals in Chinatown. Jack, Wang and their friends then embark on a mission to rescue the girl. I won't tell you anymore; it would ruin the sponteneity of this great movie. Let it suffice to say that there is lots of action, karate, and cool special FX.
