Mike started the team after several years with Hi
Impact in Nothern California, where he earned the title of Master sculptor.
Mike is an actor, artist, and prop maker whose work has appeared on
t-shirts, comics, television, and more. He is a martial artist and has
background in Polynesian fire dancing and Hawaiian cultural arts. His
sci fi collection is extensive. He has done acting/prop work for Star
Trek:Voyager, Space Patrol, the Enforcer, and the Battlestar Galactica
trailer.

Janell's background in event coordination and writing
plus experience with the entertainment industry is helpful for organizing
group activities and in assisting with writing and presenting costuming
skits. Her seamstress and handcrafting skills have produced a number
of costumes, including original designs for her Star Wars wedding in
May of 2000. She is the founder and coordinator of Star Wars Fans Online,
whose activities have received worldwide media attention. Former Star
Wars trivia champion, Janell collects toys, books, and other memorabilia.
She designs award winning web sites, is a freelance writer, and is currently
authoring a website about her show biz family.

Tammy has done both amateur and professional costuming
for the past several years now, and comes to HI South with background
in Star Wars, sci-fi, and Regency/Period costuming. She has a background
in fencing and swordplay which has been useful during the group's onstage
appearances. Tammy has as an impressive collection of memorabilia. Her
website is a testimonial to her vast and diverse interests. This diversity,
along with her rapidly growing costuming skills and her education and
background in film adds much to HI South.

Sharie caught the attention of the HI north group
at a World Con several years back with her self-taught efforts in designing
and making her own X-Wing pilot outfit. Sharie has since produced numerous
costumes in various genres and has won numerous contests. Her biggest
tally for one contest was three awards at 1998's ComiCon Masquerade,
for three separate entries. Sharie's love of costumes extends to her
children, who have won awards for their onstage antics while wearing
her creations.

Max is an impressive and accomplished professional whose
work can be seen in productions such as Starship Troopers and Star Trek:
Voyager. Max's Boba Fett costume has not only won contest after contest
but has been a photo magnet at conventions, premieres, and other events.

 Gabriel
("Hung") Nguyen
Also originally part of the Northern California HI IMPACT, Gabriel has
been involved in costuming for many years. His years of involvement
in costuming and conventions make him a valuable asset to the team.
Gabriel is involved in the computer industry, has a martial arts background,
and possesses a huge collection of memorabilia, enough to make the most
die hard collector drool!
