A good place to hunt that is
often over looked by other
detectorists is the area between
the sidewalk and the curb.
For water
shooting I use a Fishers 1280x
Aquanaut and here's my tip that
works on a well hunted beach:
The 1280 X will go deep! When
the competition is heavy at a
public beach or swimming lake,
crank your sensitivity down to
around five. Most of the gold
found is being lost the same day.
If you are constantly scooping
for deep targets, the competition
will wade away with the easy gold.
Save your deep ring and coin
searching on days that other
detectorists are not there or for
swimming holes that only you and
your freinds have access to......
