plot:
some pirates stole a ship containing slaves, the ownership rights of the ship are the hinge on which the slaves freedom hang. kinda ok, only someone who didn't go to high school didn't learn about this already though, it's based on a true story. I felt the guy cinque did an excellent job, but the crappy( i don't like spielberg) directing and dull script and predictable hollywood dialogue make it hard to sit through. there are far better ways to learn about this omportant part of our history, please if interested go to the library and read about it properly, don't use hollywood's poor treatment of the subject as your only guide.
