| My name is Timothy Frantz.
I prefer Timothy or Longshot (the Longshot part is only a little bit of
a story which out of us only I and John know. I'd let you in on it, but
what's life without a little mystery?)
I was born in Butler, PA. and I've been moving steadily north ever since. I just hope to die before I need to wrestle a Polar Bear for my dinner. My parents divorced when I was young and i was raised by my mom and step-dad who was a Methodist Minister and was the person who invited the missionaries to talk with me. (That is a VERY long story which I may get into another time if anyone is really interested.) John and I were in the Utah, Ogden Mission together but were never actually companions. We saw quite a bit of each other though. It's a wonder no rumors got started. Especially by us. I now live in Concord, NH. I still have many relatives in Franklin, PA., Butler, PA. and Mechanicsburg, PA.. I don't know how far any of these are from Grove City, Erick, but who knows you may run across one or two of them. Just look for the hillbillies. I learned to read full-length books when I was 3, and have been a voracious reader ever since. I like Asimov, Bradbury, Heinlein, Piers Anthony and most classics ( Shakespeare and earlier). I also am a Trekker (NOT a Trekkie, Big difference). I like Lucas, Spielburg, ET. AL.. I play chess if anyone wants to start an E-mail chess game. As a critic I tend to concentrate on the technical aspects of writing. I will give suggestions for how a scene might be more dramatically rewritten and I have a very good eye for continuity and detail inconsistencies. I also love to make fun of typos so please don't make your scripts too very clean, I need to have some fun. The computer at my house is not on-line, so I'll be picking up my messages about two or three times a week during classes or labs. I'm studying computer information systems at NH Tech in Concord, NH. I'm 31 (Yes, an old man) and have done some criticizing work for local authors. My life is just as hectic as yours are. As John will no doubt tell you, Longshot is the master of the mystic gates.
