Male, Caucasian (white enough to blind 3 out
of 4 mice), 6'0" tall, broad of stature(250lbs), 21 years of age(no jokes,
please), brown hair, color-shifty blue eyes(don't ask how it works, I don't
know), and a general, all-around caricature and screwball. I returned about
a year ago from a Floridian Mission, (Florida, Tampa Mission) where I had
a whopping 18 companions and 10 areas. (they liked me that much!)
My reading interests are limited, I like the
usuals, but I haven't much interest in exploratory reading(never had much
time to experiment with new authors) Favorite authors include such famous
names as Asimov, Shakespeare, Creighton, King, and all Prophets of the
true and living God(the ultimate author... and anything else for that matter)
I am not an experienced writer, but I like writing
more than reading, but I haven't had much chance to flex that. I have,
currently, about 6 separate novel ideas, and a few novelettes in mind.
My writing style is sporatic, I just sit down and write occasionally, each
time on something different, so I wouldn't expect much contiguous writing
from me, I take it one chapter at a time, plotting it out as I go(yes,
I have no idea how any of my books will finish).
Now for the question all of you have in mind
(maybe not, but I'm going to answer it anyway) S.O.L.Y.D. is the acronym
for Steps On Little Yipping Dog, a nickname given me by a friend in South
Dakota, the acronym sounds cool, so I use it.
I am from South Dakota, as you may have guessed,
be warned, I'm not like ANYONE there.
Music interests: Anything not Country or Rap
(put 'em together, whadda ya get? CRAP!!) Favorite band is They Might Be
Giants, followed closely by a lot of others, if you want to hear a run
down of the contents of my 100+ CD collection (all favorites) just ask.
My major here (@BYU) is Computer Science (I
am the mad computer scientist! MWA-HA-HA-HA!!!!!)
The books I have started now, (none of them
with a full chapter yet, I've just recently lost everything I've written)
include a fantasy novel, one sci-fi, one fantastic horror, a contemporary
fiction, and a fantasy/sci-fi mix-up that I'm writing using others as my
pen, completely. I'm framing the last one up and rounding up people now.
I may do it this summer.
If I've forgotten anything, "ask,
and it shall be given." (and NO, I DON'T write Mormon fiction) |
