You notice the book on the desk. Curiously, you reach to pick it up. Falcon glances at you, saying nothing, and then returns to his writing. You trace the ancient text on the cover with your finger. You frown. The writing looks somehow familiar...you glance at the room once more. Yes, now it makes sense. The walls and pillars of the room are covered from top to bottom in this mysterious writing. You slowly, very carefully, open the book. Surprisingly, the text inside is written in clear and fluent Basic. You scan the page, and decide to read.

The Life of Falcon Taelonos
|
Writer's Note- I am writing this documentary of my life so that it may be preserved for future generations of Taelonians, if there will be any at all. All must know the dangers of the Dark Side. I am a first-hand witness to it's destructive powers. With this said, read on. | It all began sixty years ago, when I, naive as befitted my age, was first introduced to the Force. As I recall it, my Uncle Eagle taught me. I was destined to be a great Bird of Prey, as they said. But in all their wildest dreams they would have never forseen my future. I began innocently enough. My Uncle ensured that I would be trained in the Light Side. But the Emperor had other plans. At the age of three, I witnessed for the first time the destructive capacity of the Empire. I watched in horror as they bombarded my home planet, scavenging, taking slaves. Perhaps they were looking for me, I will never know. Nevertheless, I fled my home planet at such an influential age and sought refuge with the Rebel Alliance, along with my parents and uncle. For four years, I lived my life in seclusion, hidden among members of the Rebellion. Until the Empire found me once again. No one is sure who tipped them off, perhaps it was an insider, but that is all behind me now. Needless to say, the evil came once again, and swept over our tiny refuge like an epidemic. All crew members were killed, and my parents and I were taken hostage. Moments later, a witnessed before my very eyes the grotesque slaughter of both my parents. Robin and Nluejay Taelonos...may the Maker worship their memory. Following this traumatic experience, I was taken under the Emperor's wing, and brought to a training facility on a secluded Moon base. During my years there, I flourished in the Force, although it was the Dark Side. I also met a girl..a most wonderful and beautiful girl. Matoaka Kenobi, known this day as Luna Kenobi, the one ray of light in my otherwise dismal existence. I thought for sure we were meant to be. Perhaps we are, but the Maker has yet to decide. After several years training at this academy, I lost track of Luna, for the Emperor has sent her away to be a slave to a bounty hunter. It was several years before I saw her again. Nevertheless, I trained, and became an apt pupil. I was taken to the planet Courscant to be a personal bodyguard of the Emperor, along with several others whoo passed. He no longer became known as Falcon. Only his designation, 24, twenty-fourth pupil of Palpatine. For nearly nine years, I protected him. Him and his evil lies, his evil ways. But then a miracle happened. My parents came to me in a dream. They were very displeased, and they awoke in me feelings I had not felt for a long time. I broke free of the Emperor's control, and escaped. At this point I attempted to return to my home planet, but I was in for quite a surprise. When I arrived, I found that much had changed. The system had grown rigid. They would not even allow me into my home planet without authorization. When at last I found my Uncle again, I learned he had become the Supreme lawgiver of the planet. I expected warm greetings. I was indeed in for a shock. Rather than welcoming me home, my Uncle had me arrested, and thrown in the local district prison. I was indicted on charges not yet to my understanding, yet I found out soon enough. I was tried, and convicted of being a sympathizer of the Dark Side. Taelonainas are extremely Force sensitive. They sensed a dark aura about me the moment I landed on the planet. The charge for such a "crime" was exile. I was forever banished from the planet Talos, the home which I had never known. I wandered the galaxy in despair, desperately hopping from planet to planet searching for work. At last my journeys brought me to Tatooine and Mos Eisley. As I look back, I realize that my life was full of miracles. My arrival here was one of them. I felt as I stepped into that dismal-looking cantina a ray of light was once again to penetrate my life. I once again found my love. Together again, we lived happily. We reminisced, and beared our souls to each other. Our love was rekindled and it grew. We married. For five happy years, we were together, and we happily raised our child on the barren planet of Tatooine. But dark times were ahead. My wife had made an acquaintance by the name of Zhen Sunrider, Dark Lord of the Sith. It was at this time that something again went wrong My wife had agreed to study under Lord Sunrider, and I, afraid to lose her, followed suit. Little did I know that Sunrider had other plans...and so did the Dark Circle. My first encounter with Dark Circle was nearly fatal. A Dark Jedi whos name is still unknown to me attacked me one day, in the midst of my allies, enemies, and my dear Luna. It appeared as if this unknown one had murdered me in cold blood. Fortunately, I proved the Circle wrong. After several months in seclusion, disguising my identity and creating the facade that I was indeed dead, I came back one night to once again untie with my beloved wife. But things had changed. She was no longer the Luna I had known throughout the years. Not only this, but she had fallen in love with Sunrider. Or so it seemed....it was at this moment in my life that I swore vengance I was fortunate to make some contacts. I met up with Leala Sunrider, Zhen's wife. Apparently he had betrayed and killed her, but now she had returned, as I had. I learned that many people, including the Dark Circle, wished to see Lord Sunrider dead. And I, in my quest for vengance, agreed to Leala's demands. However, no one could have forseen the coming destruction. I swore to myself that I would kill my one-time wife, and her newly found "friend". Little did I know the spirits had other plans. My wife left the planet Tatooine for unknown reasons, and journeyed to a planet where I could not find her. Sunrider, on the other hand, was in for a surprise. A few days after Luna's departure, it was revealed that he was aging rapidly. His old Sith body was finally decaying. From other sources, I learned of his death, one lonely night on the ancinet Sith Training Grounds. The Dark Circle was present for his untimely departure. It was at this time when I, as well as many others, kenw that the Dark Circle had to be stopped. Unfortunately, the hopes of taking on Dark Circle were dashed, for at this time the great planet of Talos was obliterated. And I, affected by this cataclysmic disturbance in the Force, (for all Taelonians share a life pact with their planet) began to age incredibly, until I too, perished. My spirit was restless, as I wandered the abyss of desolate darkness. I would not rest until matters were settled. Although I was at a disadvantage in my ethereal form, I managed to gain wisdom from many dark force users, and happened on to the concepts of resurrection. I happened upon a perfect specimen for my re-birth, a human by the name of Kyle Banard. With the aid of select allies, Banard's soul was expelled and mine entered his form. Then, using Taelonian technology, his form was altered to accompany Taelonian characteristics. With this new form, I honed my skills and prepared for battle. It was about this time that I learned Sunrider was indeed not dead, and my wife had returned from Nin Felinis, bearing Sunrider's newborn child. Although angered, I continued refining my battle skills, preparing for the eventful day when I would meet up with Dark Circle. However, the spark between my wife and I could not be extinguished, and we turned towards other interests. Needless to say, Zhen Sunrider was in the past. My wife bore a new child, our second, when we finally turned back to the interests surrounding Mos Eisley. It seemed that Dark Circle had mysteriously been dispatched by unknown assailants, soon after the Circle's leader had been redeemed. Indeed, redemption was far reaching, for at the same time, Luna Kenobi and I begged forgiveness of the Jedi. We wished to provide a safe and prosperous future for our children, free from the dark's grasp. We were forgiven. Unfortunately, duty called, and I struck out on an expedition with my newfound sister, Lokilani. Upon learning of a surviving colony of Taelonians, we embarked upon a journey to ffind them. However, this wasn't before meeting up with an old friend, who was now indeed a great enemy. My former mentor and friend, Zek Raltise, had ventured to Mos Eisley in search of me. He was as dark as they come, and when he had learned of my conversion to the light, he unleashed his vengance. He attacked my wife and children, as well as me. Eventually he faded into the bakground and my sister and I embarked for our trip. However, he was always waiting, lingering. And plotting. And I, sensing the threat of a renewed Jedi Purge, went underground, into hiding, and had my wife and children do the same. This page is still UNDER CONSTRUCTION, and will not be completed until certain matters elsewhere are settled. You close the book, and look around. Once again you notice the Gateway, and the Access Port. Once again, the Fire Fern, enticing you, drawing you forward. What will you do?
