Azonia's AA page!

As you may already know, Azonia is Miriya's commanding officer. She has a big ego and a big collar. Through most of the show she is just another Zentradi. She usually obeys orders and acts in the normal Zentradi fashion. Only after the alliance with the micronians does she start having her own opinions. She sides with the major EVIL dude Khyron (who has a big ego and and even bigger collar!) agaisnt the micronian corruption. Oddly enough, she and Khyron are as affected by micronian feelings as any of the defected Zentradi.
This all breaks out at the infamous
EVIL ZENTRADI DRINKING PARTY!!!!!
After Khyron's capture of some important protoculture stuff and Minmie and her cousin Kyle, the bad guys all gather for a little fun and some booze.
No, it's not the hand of god. But don't
you wish he would have pushed just a little harder?
Khyron and Azonia get a little tipsy and try out some micronian customs. Namely the famous "KISS"!
To show their micronain captives that he does know something about micronian customs, Khyron swoops up Azonia and plants a good smacker on her. And they stay that way for a while, oblivious to everything except this kiss. They stay this way for QUITE a while. A looong time. A REALLY long time! Until Khyron's stupid subordinate interrupts them.
This kiss is sooooo much better than any kiss between Rick and Lisa/ Minmie. I don't think it tops the "first date" Max-Miriya kiss, but I'm prejudiced. (Also, Max and Miriya fly while they're kissing, cheesy, yes, but very appropriate for those two.) Khyron seems little affected by it- he blows it off as an experiment- but you can tell he felt the emotion associated with kissing- namely love. Azonia is staggered- she is really blown over by the studly Kyhron.
Until her death she is devoted to him. She is torn between her Zentradi instincts and her new feelings toward Kyhron. Since he is a manly man, he focuses on his goal- to fianally destroy the Micronians, and seems indifferent to Azonia.
But in one of his later battles, he does seem to show a growing affection for her. Because Azonia does not have a battle pod to fight in, he gives her his. They fight alongside each other and Khyron proves that he can whip some micronian ass even without a battle pod.
UNTIL THE END!
*spoiler alert*

Their ship is hit and going down- there is no hope for them anymore, so Khyron decides to ram his ship into the SDF1 (or SDF2, I can't remember...) He and Azonia grasp hands just before going down, and die together for a goal they believe in. If they weren't the bad guys it would be tragic. Even though they are the bad guys it's tragic. After the drinking party Azonia and Khyron became much more likable characters- partly because of their new developement.
